“The Story of Us" examines the notion of renewal in a romantic relationship and explores this theme through the characters of Laura and Zac. After Zac cheats on Laura he depicts renewal when he reaches out after five months of no contact, in hopes of getting back together with her. The goal of this game is to demonstrate how every choice we make results in a different outcome, and every time we make a choice our future changes. I explore this concept by allowing the reader to achieve different endings for Laura and Zac based on the choices the reader makes for Laura.
